This blog is being created in hopes that the installation pricing of flooring installations can begin to equalize with the costs of doing business. Year after year I've watched as manufacturers have felt free to increase the costs of their products to protect their bottom line, and the shops we work for there by increasing their bottom lines by the mere fact that most of them increase their markup based on a percentage. I know this is how it works as your expenses increase, you have to increase the cost of the service in order to keep up with inflation. But year after year we have been left out of this loop. As our prices have not kept up with the ever increasing costs of providing ethical reliable professional service, it seems our bottom line has dropped out.
